One of the most shocking, outrageous news of 2017 is the fact that the current president of the United States of America is Donald J Trump haha it's so outrageous saying it out loud without a silly smirk on my face still takes some control to achieve. Politics is the one institution that has enabled civilisation, the assimilation and sharing of power amongst nations as well as a serious boring trade that takes resources, wit and great oratory attributes for the candidates. Never has one really thought of comedy, smiles and tears of laughter to be associated with politics apart from the comedy mic sessions when stand up comedians have a go at politicians. The South African parliament has managed to embrace all of the above attributes and made them a part of their daily agenda with their ever recurring spectacles from clashes between the ruling party and the opposition. Well President Jacob Zuma and EFF president Julius Malema.

It's very sad that serous issues that affect people of South Africa's lives are neglected and tax payer's money is misused but the leaders chosen by the people bicker back and forth and fail to acknowledge their faults and assume their true responsibilities. Shifting to the USA, it's funny and shocking that the "leaders of the free world" have a problem with having a woman in their precious Oval office because with all the endorsements, policies and experience that Hillary Clinton brought to the table, it was almost a walk in the park in the world's eyes.... The contrast we all saw unfolding is just shocking comedy!
