Fifty Shades Darker, the Ultimate Do Over

When Fifty Shades of Grey came out people flocked to the theaters with anticipation of a depiction of the couple every reader of the books lusted over, wanted to be and for some people even relived coming to life. People who were well acquainted with Christian Grey were far from impressed with some people having a problem with the casting and the story line being different and not as intriguing as in the books. Fifty Shades Darker came out this February and after a very intriguing trailer that saw the producers revamping the much awaited “do over” to the highly anticipated movie and we were all impressed and couldn’t wait for February 14th. Fifty Shades Darker came with it a much livelier cast and exciting dialogue to support the well constructed plot, I have never read the books but from the comments of the people that have, it was a home run. Christian Grey’s past created enough conflict to assure the transition of character was genuinely tested and the way he prevailed allowed substance to the film. Anastasia Steel also transforms into her own person, bold strong willed and definitely not the push over from Fifty Shades of Grey and that allowed the audience a more realistic fantasy that’s more easy to relate to. Overall, it was a very enjoyable watch and the quality of the shots, scenes and of course the classy props really did a good job in accentuating the cast’s brilliant performance…
