Fitness Goals |
This week’s
post focusses on the physical part of the human health and the one way to
promote and maintain physical health is assuring the body’s fitness levels are
up to par. Fitness refers to the agile functionality of our body’s muscles to
get maximum performance from our bodies as well as improve our chances of
physical health assurance. We often admire good bodies on the television and
dream of how great it would make us feel if our bodies were in such good shape,
that right there is the perfect motivation to work towards and maintaining a
good, fit and healthy body. Psychologically, if a person looks good and is
satisfied with their body they are bound to feel good about themselves and it
is important to maintain the connection between the physical and psychological
satisfactory, it assures our sanity, self-esteem, stress levels and as such
help towards low blood pressure. .
So go to the gym, run a few kilometres a day, be active and sweat a
little this freezing winter, we know Gauteng has already fired a couple of
warning shots.. after a couple of months summer will be upon us, if being
healthy isn’t motivation enough, picture the warm Cape Town sun on a perfectly
chiselled body, the waves and the envious stares from jealous onlookers…
