My final year!

Pearson Institute of Higher Education
The day I got a place to study my Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations at Pearson I was elated, I couldn’t wait to finish high school and start on Uni, freedom, responsibility and maturity was the highlight and it couldn’t come any sooner. I remember completing registration and getting my schedule and realised those three years would be a real drag; there was much to be done. Excitement seemed to trump the workload, I just wanted to do it, I was eager and too overjoyed to be in university. Second year came and things changed, it got a bit harder and work got more and more, the motivation was the smell of my third and final year on the horizon, I wanted to get there and I did. Everything comes into perspective, the whole reason for being at Pearson was apparent, to be ready for the world and be fully equipped in every sense possible, knowledge wise, the right mind-set…  It’s been a revelation, this final year, the internship program gives you a taste of what’s in store and I’m glad my experience was all sweet and I can’t wait to be done, graduate and become part of the real world. It is a blessing to have gone through these hallways, having to have met lecturers I never had a problem with in any way, lecturers that motivated me to want to keep going and some that straight up shepherded me the whole time and to my advantage. Reality checks are the best motivation and if there is one thing that is imperative, it’s the fact that those have been in abundance throughout this year and I’m eternally grateful. Its been crunch time since the moment we got back to start the first semester of this year in anticipation of the last lap and the rush to submit every assignment and the time taken to prep for tests and exams were all just but part of the process.  I look forward to keeping in touch with everyone that ever made an impact during my time and to make sure to give back to that commitment every chance I get. It has been a pleasure!
